William, David Thompson's "control," answered a question about whether a person who dies "before his time" might have been pre-ordained in a seance on September 15, 2006. William explains that there are often preparations for someone's passing, but that things happen that are not all pre-planned. All is intended to bring about a satisfactory transition between the two spheres. He then explains that a person may incarnate with a plan to spend a certain amount of time on earth. If the person is on Earth for the first time, that isn't possible.

He explains that children who reincarnate have a vibration around them. People can see that they are an "old soul."
