One account of a person being greeted after his passing was recorded by Betty Green and George Wood during a Leslie Flint Seance in 1974. The deceased person's name was George Wilmot. George had a horse named Nelly with whom he was very close. He was surprised to see Nelly when he passed away because he assumed animals didn't have souls and wouldn't be in the afterlife. George's guide, Michael, explained why his horse's spirit was in the afterlife.
